Lauzhack, the hackathon organized by EPFL students at EPFL will take place this weekend

Lauzhack, the hackathon organized by EPFL students at EPFL will take place this weekend from 11 to 12 November 2017.

During this marathon of creativity 300 students from 24 countries will have 24 hours to create something innovative and be judged by EPFL professors and main industry players in technology. Hackers can implement their own ideas or they can try to solve challenges proposed by sponsors.

This year LauzHack is sponsored by Logitech, Cisco, IBM, SkyScanner, BOBST, SGS, AXA, ELCA, Credit Suisse, Swissquote, Mindmaze, Bloomberg, Martin Vetterli’s signal processing LCAV lab and Major League Hacking.

The judge panel consists of several EPFL professors, sponsor representatives and VentureLab who can help hackers make their idea a reality. In parallel to the main event, LauzHack is partnering with GirlsCoding for a mini-hackathon for teenage school girls interested in programming to promote gender equality in technology fields.
