05.07.2016 AXA Winterthur is seeking for interested young entrepreneurs for joint projects in their start-up Challenge. Five startups will have the opportunity to present their idea to a pitch event. AXA and the winning start-up will then develop a proof of concept or pilot by the end of 2016, which AXA will co-finance with up to CHF 30’000.
In the development of new products and services, AXA Winterthur is not only aware of their own innovation, but also looking outside the company for inspirational impulses. The focus is on working with start-ups that are convincing with innovative technologies and business models. Some initiatives have already been launched in this area AXA. Now the insurance launched for the first time a Startup Challenge.
AXA is therefore looking for start-ups that can solve one of the three challenges below with their offering (product/service):
- Additional services for private and corporate customers in the area of mobility
- Additional services for small and medium-sized enterprises that simplify their management or administrative tasks
- Help AXA make its internal operating processes more customer-friendly and efficient
The startups can apply via the online form available on the challenge website http://www.techbridge.ch/axa/en/. The top five candidates will be invited to a pitch event on September 8 in Winterthur. The winning start-up will then develop a proof of concept or pilot by the end of 2016, which AXA will co-finance with up to CHF 30’000. If the results are positive then a durable strategic partnership is envisaged. In addition, there is also the possibility of a financial participation through AXA Strategic Ventures.
